At the Versailles castle I found many favorite items to photograph.

In 2010 i was exhibiting at Salon Versailles and visited the Versailles castle

This is a small peek into the treasures of the castle

Louis the XIV was also known as Louis the great or the Sun King

At the gates of Versailles I caught the sun with my lens

And then Louis caught the sun under his arm as he was welcoming me to his castle

This is a beautiful statue with a beautiful patina

Versailles castle contains indescribable treasures

The doors of Versailles castle is detailed beyond my imagination

They were gilded and restored by the best craftsmen of France through decades

This is craftsmanship

This is serious ornamentation!

When walking around in the castle I had to stop for every meter to take pictures of doors and details 

It's breathtaking....right? 

 Indescribable 

 It goes on like this room by room - floor by floor - building by building .... 

It's overwhelming and beyond comprehension
